Great little hidden gem in RI. The view from here is breath taking and is very peaceful to walk around. We enjoyed ourselves walking the dog and snapping some great photos for memories. You unfortunately have to park on the street or right down the road in a parking lot but it’s a nice little walk to get to the lighthouse with the beautiful houses you pass by. Definitely recommend checking out and pretty neat being able to see Taylor Swifts house from that spot.

Beautiful landscape. Great views of city and ocean. Keep in mind you need to walk abot 10 minutes to get there. Its going through a private neighborhood

Had an Awesome ride out to see the lighthouse, relax, spent some time reading a chapter from a Great book and enjoyed the waves and a Beautiful Sunset! For fans of Taylor Swift, there's an added bonus: you can spot the singer's former home from the lighthouse. While the house itself is not visible from the public walkway, it's a fun fact for Swifties to know.

Whether you're a history buff, a nature lover, or simply looking for a beautiful place to take in the scenery, Watch Hill Lighthouse is a must-visit destination.

Parking and knowing where to walk to this lighthouse was a complete challenge. We had to ask for help. We parked by the merry-go-round and walked away from the tourist area up the road until we saw a sign and then entered. For elderly; 65 or older or handicap you were able to drive your car to the lighthouse where there is parking at the end. There was security there, but no problem walking to the lighthouse.

We walked through a beautiful neighborhood on a narrow road with upscale homes to get to the lighthouse which was beautifully kept and it was absolutely breathtaking when we got there with scenic views of the Rhode Island beach and sea. There were a few people fishing along the rocky jagged shoreline before we approached the lighthouse.

We came here off-season so we were able to get up close to the lighthouse. This may not be the case when it’s busy because I read other reviews that you could not approach the light House.

If I ever return to Rhode Island I would make the time to come here again. It was well worth the walk and the visit.

If you want to see incredible sunset and enjoy ocean breeze you should come here. You can park your car in the city, walk around the fairy tale town, have an ice cream or a cold drink and come to the lighthouse to enjoy the beautiful sunset. Also you can see a sunset from the city streets or beach, or enjoy a diner with amazing view on sunset.

Sucks because of parking. Went during the off season so we were able to park but dang how high my anxiety was thinking I was going to get a 150 dollar ticket (but I hopefully read the rules right that ticketing starts during the season-May 1st.) then we walked down to the light house and honestly I don’t know what to expect but the thing was so far away and blocked by a house lol. The water views were nice though. We also a family playing on the grass area so it is a big wide open space just wish the views were a little better
