Noch ohne Eintritt besuchbarer Strand, ab 2019 wohl nicht mehr. Schöner Sand, langer Boardwalk. Die Bauarbeiten zur Ertüchtigung, unter anderem soll ein Bathhouse mit Umkleidemöglichkeiten errichtet werden, stören nur geringfügig.

Great boardwalk! This was a lovely flat walk. The initial boardwalk was a bit lengthy without any benches, but once you got down to the sand, there were definitely benches along the way.

I have physical challenges, but I was able to rest on the railing when I needed to until I got down to the sand.

I have neuropathy in my hands and feet and can’t enjoy walking on the sand anymore so having a boardwalk as an option really allowed me to enjoy being at the beach again.

I enjoyed my time thoroughly and found this a very beautiful spot.

Absolutely gorgeous. We strolled along the boardwalk one Friday afternoon in late summer and it couldn’t have been more aww inspiring. The warm breeze, the sun, the sand. There weren’t a lot of people around but there was still some foot traffic and people on bikes. Not a lot of dogs and none off leash that I could see.

There was kite flying and wind surfing. Some beach chairs and pop up tents. There’s also a great little cafe with everything from coffee and drinks to ice cream and chips and some quick meals like hot dogs and sandwiches. I was happy to grab a strawberry shortcake ice cream and enjoy the view.

When the tide is right you can walk out onto a small island near the beach. Very cool. I’ll definitely come back again!!

Beautiful beach. Everything was clean. I went on a Sunday by 11am. Plenty of parking and not crowded. The price to get in was $22 for out of state resident per car. It's a little bit of a walk but not terrible. I will definitely go again. You have to wear shoes to get to the water with all the shells but once in the water the sand was soft and the water was clear.
